Foundry Richmond Now Open

Vancouver, BC – Youth in Richmond can now easily access mental and public health services in their community as Foundry Richmond is now open in its new interim location at 8100 Granville Avenue. The Foundry Richmond location brings together same-day counselling services with existing mental health and substance use counselling services, sexual health, youth peer and family supports well as access to social services for youth ages 12 to 24, all in one convenient location.

Get your flu shot: the reasons are all around you

Vancouver, B.C. – If there was ever a time to get a flu shot, this is the year. In advance of flu clinics opening later this month, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is encouraging local residents to book ahead and schedule a time to get their flu vaccination. This year, VCH has increased the number of flu clinics being offered in local community centres and other community spaces to meet expected demand.

New Powell River Complex Clinic offers COVID-19 assessment and test collection

Powell River, B.C. – COVID-19 assessment and test collection is now available at the Powell River Complex Clinic, a new site opened by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) and the Powell River Division of Family Practice (PRDoFP). Located on the upper level of the Powell River Recreation Complex, the clinic will provide additional capacity to assess local residents for COVID-19.
