Computed Tomography (CT) is a diagnostic procedure that combines x-ray with advanced computer processing technology to create accurate detailed images of internal structures and organs.

CT, formerly known as a CAT scan, is an advanced medical imaging procedure that uses a revolving x-ray producing tube, special electronic sensors, and powerful computers, to make slice-like, cross-sectional images.

How to access

  • Get a referral

    A referral is required. Have your physician complete the medical Imaging requisition form.

  • By appointment only

    If your referral is from a specialist, their office will contact you with your appointment information.

    If your reference is from your general practitioner or the Lions Gate Hospital Chemotherapy Clinic, a department clerk will contact you directly to arrange the appointment.

Located on the basement floor. Follow the signage from the main entrance. Check-in at the CT/MRI reception desk.
