Bonnie Wilson

With over two decades of leadership in healthcare, Bonnie Wilson, Vice President, Vancouver Community for Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is responsible for providing leadership support to the operations team and community health services through a number of community health centres and programs including home health, mental health, substance use, primary care and long-term care.

Bonnie started her health care career as a Speech-Language Pathologist and was also an Educator and Patient Services Manager at GF Strong Rehab Centre, before transitioning to community services.  In recent years, she has held senior positions at VCH, leading region-wide strategic initiatives, including our COVID-19 testing and vaccination response, along with our successful accreditation in 2023. Prior to becoming the VP, she was the Executive Director with Vancouver Community, leading a team of operations directors with a focus on Mental Health & Substance Use, Home Health, Palliative Care, Primary Care, Long Term Care, Assisted Living, Supports for Adults with Disabilities.

Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Manitoba, and a Master of Science in Applied Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University.
